---- those who attend, those who volunteer, those who tithe, those who plan, those who lead, those who forgive, those who lift up another spirit, those who pray, and those who laugh and sing -- that our church is so richly blessed.

To all who have held this church and others in prayer - thanks. We know that prayer does not change God but it certainly changes us. We are blessed.

To all who have gone on to other adventures in their lives, those who have left the church, those who are living in accord with their dreams, those who have made their transitions -- “Because we knew you, we have been changed for good.”

Our teachers and children are special blessings. We are so grateful to everyone who made the youth education department a place of love. And thanks for the creative decorating as well. I love hearing the pealing laughter, the pattering feet, the smiling babies, and the choice comments on Sunday mornings from our precious youth. I bet you do to.

To all those who chose to live the principles we teach, thank you for reminding us what is most important. You lift us to new heights of expression and we are grateful. I can still hear the quiet reminder from our beloved Margaret Garrison, “Honey, don't you know that everything is in Divine Order?”

Thanks for the Teddy Bears. This year we have touched the entire Greater Akron area with this outreach program. Other agencies are also sending bears to us so that the Summit County Sheriff's Office can distribute these bears to frightened or lonely children or the elderly. For your big hearts -- thanks!

For those who have joined the church this year we say, “Thanks. We're glad you're here.” Each person who comes into our ministry and into our lives brings new ideas and new energy. We hope you're feeling at home.

Akron is the home of AA and we are so blessed to be able to open our doors to several 12-step groups. Even though many of us will never have the experience of this powerfully, transformative process, we give thanks that we are providing a place where people can heal their lives.

To the healers who quietly move through our ministry -- God bless each and everyone of you. Your graceful touch, your kind words, your faith in the power of healing and your commitment to giving your gift has blessed many lives. We are grateful.

Thank you for the many ways each of you have blessed this ministry. Thanks for focusing on what really matters. Thanks for bringing our mission statement to life. At Unity Chapel of Light we are really “Awakening Heaven on Earth by Healing Lives, Building Dreams, and Realizing God.
