Our violinist, Samuel Salsbury, has written about it as a river of energy... "This is usually a mellow, centering, and often, inspiring evening with chants in English, Sanskrit and Latin. The etheric (prana, chi) often flows like a river at these events. Very experiential.

Smiling Heart is a group of musicians who combine their talents with participants which together creates a musically rich and engaging spiritual environment for chanting. The music features heart opening blends of standards and originals. Smiling Heart performances calm, clear and delight their audiences.
Featuring Barbara Bellamy on piano/vocals, Paul DiFranco guitar/percussion/vocals, Scott Evans on bass/guitar, Rick Lees on mandolin/mandola, and Samuel Salsbury on violin.
